ABOUT MADDY

Hello, I’m Maddy!

Have you ever looked around and thought, “How did I end up here?”

Perhaps your life looks whole on the outside, the career, the home, the family, yet inside, there is a subtle tension. You go through the motions, check the boxes, and still, your heart feels distant. You catch yourself thinking, this isn’t how I imagined life would feel.

What if that discomfort isn’t a sign of failure, but an invitation? A gentle call to come home to yourself.
I’ve always loved making my home and garden feel calm and beautiful. But I realised that true wellbeing starts from the inside out. Life is meant to be consciously designed. On my own journey, I noticed the “weeds” in my mind — unspoken expectations, perfectionism, limiting beliefs and habits that quietly shaped my life, leaving me disconnected, overwhelmed, and stuck. I learned that when one part of your life is out of sync, the rest often follows. Real transformation begins by tending to the inner garden: sifting through the rocks, renewing the soil, and planting seeds where you are.

With a background in Interior Design, the creative design industry, mindfulness (MBSR), and online platforms, I’ve taught and empowered thousands around the globe to create lives and homes they love, filled with intention and authenticity.

Designing a life that feels like home, deeply connected to who you are, what you value, and how you want to live, is not a dream. It is possible. When we root ourselves in clarity, intention, and self-trust, obstacles become opportunities, and the only limits are the ones we place on ourselves.

For more than six years, I’ve combined creativity, home design, mindfulness, wellness, and purpose-led practices to guide women in creating lives, and homes—that feel calm, meaningful, and truly authentic. My work is rooted in integrative coaching, supporting women to reconnect with themselves and intentionally design a life that genuinely feels like home.

Though each path is uniquely our own, we share a common longing: to come home to ourselves and live with truth, meaning, and purpose. It is a privilege to walk beside women as they find their way back to what matters most.

My Story

I was born and raised in the heart of the English countryside, with rolling hills, oak trees, and fruit orchards as my playground. Later, I swapped that landscape for beaches, palms, and sand dunes in sunny Australia— the backdrop that would one day become home for my children.

My career has never been conventional, and I’ve learned that’s a strength—from working as Head Stewardess on yachts, managing housekeeping and service operations, to interior designer and stylist, and now creative business owner and integrative coach. I’ve embraced opportunities that challenged me, stretched me, and taught me how to turn vision into reality.

When my husband and I bought our first home—what my community knows it as, Hutchinson House, ‘the worst house on the best street’—we didn’t see the risk. We saw possibility. With my design perspective, our shared eye for detail, and his skilful craftsmanship, we slowly shaped it into a home that felt like us, embraced the laid-back beach lifestyle we craved, and became a peaceful oasis to return to, away from the rush of everyday life. Over six years of labour, mistakes, discoveries, and small triumphs, we learned something unexpected: it wasn’t just about the end result. It was about the process, about enjoying the journey, and about creating a life that truly feels like home.

And yet, beneath the surface, something was quietly off. I noticed the small signals, persistent back pain, a crowded mind, subtle whispers that something wasn’t right, and I turned away. I pushed through, believing effort alone could carry me past the discomfort, instead of pausing to listen.

Life speaks in subtle ways. Small signals of tension, restlessness, or unease are invitations to slow down, notice, and respond before misalignment spreads. Ignored for too long, one area of imbalance can ripple through everything you hold dear.

Restoring our home and garden became a mirror for tending to myself, to the roots of my body and motherland, the tangled garden of my mind, and the layers of my story waiting to be heard, healed, and replanted. In that process, I realised something fundamental: the gap isn’t in knowing what we want; it is in moving from intention into everyday life. When we care for ourselves with the same attention we give to a home or a garden, our values, habits, and choices begin to fall into place, creating a life that feels fully lived, grounded, and whole.

It was in my undoing, in surrendering and pausing long enough to listen, that I began to uncover the true roots of my identity.

What You Can Expect

Here, we slow down long enough to notice what truly matters. We reconnect with yourself — your values, your priorities, your thoughts, and the life you want to lead. We release what is holding you back and turn insight into action that actually feels doable. This is about creating a meaningful life where how you live and who you are naturally flow together.

The life you build here isn’t about perfection. It’s about feeling whole, calm, and purposeful. It’s about living intentionally, in a way that honours who you are and the life you are meant to live.

Growth unfolds gradually, a merging of who you have been with who you are becoming. Your past has shaped you, and when you learn to integrate your story, your experiences, your growth, your becoming, you finally return home.
This is a space for reflection and inner exploration, where your thoughts, feelings, and energy take centre stage. Here, we focus on the work that matters most, understanding yourself, tending to your inner garden, and integrating practices that support your wellbeing, clarity, and purpose. The life you live outwardly, the home you create, the routines you follow, flows naturally from the care and attention you give to your inner world. It’s about creating a life that feels fully lived, deeply meaningful, and unmistakably yours.
